On March 21, 2024, the University of Essex, in collaboration with CIPFA South East, hosted a workshop titled "Better understanding financial resilience through an innovative toolkit" at Chelmsford. The event brought together researchers, practitioners, and representatives from various local authorities and public sector organizations to explore and discuss an evidence-based financial resilience toolkit.
Participants had the opportunity to engage with the toolkit hands-on and exchange knowledge through open discussions and breakout groups. The workshop, facilitated by experts from CIPFA and universities, provided valuable insights into building financial resilience in local authorities.
